The part of the triangle base that would be between the top and bottom curves of the "C" is not displayed (is blank). In addition there is a blank space that hugs the curve of the first "C" so that the red triangle is not actually touching the black text. The triangle becomes a deeper red as you move from the base to the tip of the triangle as well.
